Mr Ricky is ill
Update - Feb 12 Hello dear friends The result came today. The issue is very bad indeed. Ricky needs to go on surgery immediately, unfortunately. It will take place tomorrow afternoon about 3 PM -GMT Prayers and good vibes, please my dear friends Vets will do x-rays to check if there is metastasis. They will open my boy to remove the bad tissues and check then how he is inside. There are 2 scenarios: - The removed tissues will go to the lab for Histopathological examination . Vet will see then what next steps should be done. maybe chemotherapy. Let´s hope for this one - If the bad tissues are spread all over his body, there´s nothing they can do for Ricky and we will have to help my boy to cross the rainbow bridge Ricky was more alive today and he is eating by himself. They are treating my boy very well, although the stress persists but is is normal considering all the situation. I will keep you updated Thank, thank you for everything Cris and Mr Ricky...

乾鮑 Dried Abalone (Bao yu) / 中國飲食文化 Chinese Food Culture / SML.20131118.7D.51331
Bao yu (鮑魚) is the common Chinese name given to abalone and also the dried seafood product produced from the adductor muscle of abalone. In dried form, it is a highly prized and expensive ingredient used in Chinese cuisine. In certain regional Chinese cuisines, its status ranks with such priced ingredients as shark’s fin, sea cucumber and bird’s nest. Fresh abalone is rarely used in Chinese cuisine. It is usually purchased in dehydrated form and rehydrated prior to cooking. I eat a lot of these! They are amazing in soups and congees. Although the larger ones can be quite expensive, the smaller ones are affordable and very suitable for everyday cooking. Aside from individual dried forms, you can often find canned versions of these in supermarkets as well. When cooked, most of the sweetness and freshness will be transferred into the cooking liquids, and enlivening all parts of the dish. Highly recommended.
