This is an estate sale find of a hexigonal shaped ceramic avocado green tea set made in Japan. I don't know what year it was made, I'm guessing '60s or '70s. The background is avocado green with light seafoam green flowers and squiggles, and accented with black or dark brown below the top and at the bottom of each piece.
The lid of the teapot was broken in the past and was glued back together, as shown in the pictures. There's a chip in the sugar bowl that I did as I was moving it around, and it's shown in the pictures as well. Other than that, this set is in very good condition with no chips or cracks elsewhere.
It's a very cute tea set that I believe is more decorative than functional. As you can see in the overhead shot, there's a starburst on the lids of the teapot and creamer.
If you would like more photos, please ask. Thanks for looking.
