This is a Japanese iron teapot with silver and gilt accents and a bronze lid that is signed inside as shown. It measures appx. 9" tall with the handle up and is 7" from the back of the teapot to the front of the spout, is 6 1/2" wide and 5 1/2" tall to the top of the finial. It is heavy for it's size at just over 4 pounds and there are no other marks that I can see. The finial is silver and there is an applied layer of silver to the inside of the handle as well. Minor rust inside looks worse in the photo than it appears in person and I assume it is easily remedied. There was a strainer inside that I neglected to photograph but is included. I would consider the condition to be excellent with no other flaws that I can find although the silver could use polishing. Shipping outside the US may be expensive.
