"Every tea lover should own one of these!" - Lara W, Tea Enthusiast

Made with borosilicate glass, this reusable tea tumber is safe for both hot or cold liquids and the BPA-free materials will not impart any unwanted flavor into your drink, such as with many plastic travel tea mugs.

Dimensions
Height: 9.65" (245 mm)
Width/Diameter: 2.83" (72 mm)
Volume: 14 oz (414 mL)
Net. Weight: 1 lb (492 g)

Materials
Lid: Food Grade Stainless Steel w/ Rubber Waterproof Seal
Bottle: Insulated Double-Wall Borosilicate Glass
Filter: Food Grade Stainless Steel Loose Leaf Tea Strainer
Base: Food Grade Stainless Steel w/ Rubber Waterproof Seal and Foam Non-Slip Pad

How to Use
1. Remove base from bottle and unscrew filter from base.
2. Place your favorite loose leaf tea (or fruit) in the filter.
3. Screw filter back onto base and screw base back onto bottle.
4. Remove lid from bottle and fill with water (for hot tea, use near-boiling water).
5. Replace lid and let the beverage steep/infuse.¹
6. To remove the tea/fruit, turn bottle over, remove base and unscrew filter - then discard contents² and replace base.

¹You can leave the contents in the filter as long as you wish, however over-steeping tea leaves may lead to tea that is bitter and astringent.
²Loose leaf teas may be used multiple times before losing their flavor, however it is not recommended to use after 8 hours.

News and Review: Joffrey’s Tea Traders Cafe at Disney Springs

The retail shop and tea counter is the brainchild of Joffrey’s , a name that you’re most likely familiar with if you enjoy coffee and tea while out and about at Walt Disney World. Joffrey’s is the official coffee of Disney World and Disneyland, and operates many kiosks and stands throughout Disney parks and resorts. Let’s take a look around. Atmosphere Tea Traders Cafe is located in The Landing area of Disney Springs. If you’re trying to get your bearings, it’s the ground that was once known as Pleasure Island. You’ll find the expansive shop right beside. In addition to the menu items, cast members will do their best to try and recreate any custom blends or drinks you’re looking for. Overall This place will definitely be a haven for tea-lovers, and may even be a draw for non-tea-drinkers due to the pastry counter and interactive experiences. Will you be visiting Joffrey’s Tea Traders Cafe. Leave a comment and let us know what looks good to you at this new spot. Thanks to Joffrey’s for inviting us to explore their shop on its opening day. We were not obligated to write about Tea Traders Cafe. I am an avid tea drinker and a little bit of a tea snob. I visited and the place was as amazing as you described. I sat at the tea bar and observed a Gong Fu Cha Demonstration and sampled several teas. I definitely liked the hot teas better than the iced teas. Couldnt resist buying some tea and a cool double walled travel mug to brew and drink tea from. This will definitely be a place I go every trip. Source: the disney food blog

Despite what Mom says about my Russian Caravan tea, I actually liked it. I love black tea and this one was nice and smoky. According to Wikipedia, traditionally, loose tea is served in a teapot with milk and sugar. We did get the loose tea served in a teapot with sugar, but no milk. I'm not sure if it's because we selected teas that do not go well with milk.

Mug of Tea
Mug of Tea
Tea is of course a great British tradition, though the tea plant itself comes from Asia. As can be seen, the vast majority of British people drink tea with milk. Nowadays many people, perhaps most, drink tea from a small bag in a mug such as this for convenience, but it has to be said that the best tea is served in china teacups in saucers poured from a teapot with the tea loose inside. I don't know why. It just does, though that process takes five minutes rather than the one minute in the mug above. Some prefer tea weak whilst others have it so strong a spoon will stand on its end in the cup. Well, not quite...

Sowden SoftBrew™ Tea Filter
Sowden SoftBrew™ Tea Filter
For over 800 years the finest teapots in the world have continued to be made without provisions for filters of any kind, be they small nets, clasps or, god-forbid, tea bags. The reason being that tea’s leaves and tips must have room to expand and unfurl in order to properly release the full range of their flavours. Sowden’s SoftBrew™ teapot improves this beautifully simple functionality by introducing a discrete piece of advanced micro-engineering in the heart of the pot: a supersized etched stainless steel filter whose generous dimensions allow tea leaves the same freedom as that of filter-less pots as well as being easily removable and cleanable, eliminating the waste of tea bags and greatly simplifying the ritual of preparing perfect loose leaf tea. The pots themselves are made in Chaozhou, the Imperial ceramic capital of China, using the highest grade local stoneware and porcelain and all our pots pass all the highest consumer safety tests. The design intelligence of these...
