How to Use
1. Remove base from bottle and unscrew filter from base.

3. Screw filter back onto base and screw base back onto bottle.
4. Remove lid from bottle and fill with water (for hot tea, use near-boiling water).
5. Replace lid and let the beverage steep/infuse.¹
6. To remove the tea/fruit, turn bottle over, remove base and unscrew filter - then discard contents² and replace base.
¹You can leave the contents in the filter as long as you wish, however over-steeping tea leaves may lead to tea that is bitter and astringent.
²Loose leaf teas may be used multiple times before losing their flavor, however it is not recommended to use after 8 hours.

Probably my favorite idea from this posting is the use of a chandelier or light fixture as a solar garden light. All you have to do is find a light fixture that can hang, possibly from a tree or pole in your back yard. Make sure your find a fixture with light bulbs that face up rather than down. At any store with a garden department you should be able to find little solar lights that charge with the sun during the day, and at night light up creating a perfect-lighted walkway or display in a garden. The great thing about these lights is that you can remove the lighting piece on top of the stake—which is used to push the light into the ground—and it can be placed where the light bulb hole is on the fixture. Most of the time the solar light will fit right in the bulb socket. This is the number one thing I want in my future fantasy garden. A garden can be as unique as it’s owner. If you like to cater to your birds, so many fun and cheap birdhouse and bird feeder ideas exist for making a home for your feathery friends with items you probably have around the house. One of my favorite ideas is the use of a teacup and saucer as shown. If you want a larger birdbath closer to the garden, find a light fixture globe, flip it upside down and attach to a rod in the ground for a beautiful birdbath. I’ve written of my love for old windows. every time I see one I like, I buy it. Usually the ones I buy are for framing purposes, but the beauty of an old window is that it can be used so many ways. In the photo I posted you can see a small greenhouse made from old windows. What a perfect idea for a smaller garden where there might not be enough room for a big, expensive greenhouse. Just like windows have other uses, ladders can be just as useful. In the photo shown here, someone has used ladders to create an archway, which could also be used as a trellis for roses or ivy to climb. Usually I can figure out for the most part how things are accomplished in repurposes, but I don’t really know on this one. If you like to use pieces from old machinery around the farm, there are many ideas to choose from. The fountain made from old, rusty disks is so ingenious. It was probably just welded together and a fountain motor was placed in it. Love the idea. One of the photos shows an old washing machine tub repurposed to hold a garden hose. I was thinking an old tire rim could work just as good and more farms have them in abundance. I’ve seen a lot of old trucks in my day, and I love the nostalgia of them. One thing that hurts my heart is seeing an old truck thrown in a junk pile to rust and become a huge vermin nest. One way this tragedy can be prevented is to use parts of that old Chevy in your garden. Whatever your inspiration, there is almost always a way to incorporate it in the garden. It just takes a little imagination and a little bit of fairy dust. Source: www.hpj.com
