What's more comforting than a hot cup of tea and a good chat with a friend? Brewing a cup or two is easy with this Emerald Isle inspired personal teapot. It can steep up to 12 ounces of your favorite tea, be it Irish Breakfast, Pekoe or Chamomile. The pot is made of a lovely cream ceramic and embellished with a green spout, top and handle. The lid and spout feature subtly raised celtic knots. The handle and rim of the pot are embellished with raised bronze/brown "beads." A raised gold claddagh with the word "Friendship" or a raised gold Tree of Life with the word "Family" decorates one side of the teapot. The pot measures 4.25 inches x 7 inches x 4.375 inches. It comes in a delightful box, and makes a wonderful gift for anyone who collects teapots, loves Ireland or just a nice cuppa tea.
The designers at Belleek have been inspired by the rustic but beautiful patterns found in both traditional hand weaving and hand knitting. Each unique pattern originates from different families and holds its own name and story. Therefore, this piece deserves to be the center of any table.

‘Glamping’ is the new craze sweeping Ireland - a glamorous version of the two-man and sleeping bag. And it’s far from heating cold baked beans over a camping stove - glamping comes with all mod cons. Derval McGovern runs one of Ireland’s leading glamping sites, Teapot Lane Luxury Camp in Co. Leitrim. She has lived on the site since 2004 after purchasing property which came with five acres of land. And in 2010 she decided to put the extra land to use and turn it into Ireland’s first glamping site. Derval said: “I had a lot of different properties in the country and with this came a bit of land. I used to travel around Asia as well and they have a lot of pretty little things and I wanted to bring something like that here. Fans of the outdoors who didn’t fancy roughing it turned up in their droves and five years down the line the quirky retreat is big business. Derval said: “It actually took of quite quickly -I thought that it would have taken a lot longer than it did. In our first week of opening, The Guardian in the UK, their magazine did a list of the Top 10 Luxury Campsites in Europe and we were in the list. Derval said the site is popular with everyone from girls on a weekend away to couples and families. “We have a campfire on site which kids like to toast marshmallows on and also a fairie garden as well, so they love it. We have a selection of board games also for those rainy days. Derval said the rise of glamping is partly because people like camping but not the pain of pitching their own tent and also enjoy a break that’s a bit different from a hotel. She said: “I think it’s become so popular because it’s a different option to a break in a hotel room. Glamping kind of takes things back to nature a bit and it’s quite economic as well. “You can bring your own food or cook some on-site in the communal kitchen, so it won’t cost you as much. “I think people like that they get to experience the outdoors and not just booking some room somewhere. We’ve taken a look at some of the top glamping spots in the country. 1: Teapot Lane, Co Leitrim. Teapot Lane Luxury Camp in Tawley, Co.
